Bird it would make sense, a lot of read dye in our food has been known to cause problems in the body.
I may not be 100% right, I believe Cancers and urinary problems.
I was all ways to avoid red dye in food and drinks growing up because of an over active bladder.

we have them here too. Also bee-eaters.

@Sting, yeah hummingbirds are only found in North and South America.

@Sunni, I haven't done research, but I have heard similar things about red dye. They don't need it to be attracted to the feeder.

I need to look into it.
I dont think feeding hummingbirds is much of a thing here in Australia.

It should be though!

Talking about hummingbirds for an hour sounds like something someone who is on the spectrum might do. I can be guilty of steering the topic away to something that interests me.

Hello! I'm wondering if there's a better way to advertise 2 year old studs for testing as a 3 year old, than just on the stallion forum. I've posted 2 WWW AA colts, each for free or 1k (for the most recent one) straws, with a EWW+ requirement. Exceptions can be made for that requirement if someone PMs me to confirm. However, neither of them have gotten any interest. I consistently see freshies with very similar, or worse, training posted and they get plenty of people signing up for straws. Does it have to do with being a well known/popular player? Am I advertising my horses wrong? This doesn't just happen with colts, it also happens in topics such as asking what one of my mares is worth. It's quite frustrating and I'd love any advice on how to help. Thanks in advance!

Maybe advertise his hidden pearl gene trait? its possible it's just because he is Sabino and Roan or his high requirements. The link to him is also broken.

Three things I've found help with filling out freshie forums:
  1. post about him in chat! NOT in an advertising way, but if he's trained exceptionally well on a Monday, post to celebrate. People that are interested will watch him, which leads to
  2. using the "Who's Watching My Horses?" report to send out a little post that his forum has been posted. People that are watching him are likely to be the ones that most want to
  3. sales chat and/or keep an eye on the breeding forums for people looking for studs that match their mares.
You can advertise your butt off, but at the end of the day a low-quality horse with 1 up week 7 is just not going to get as much interest as something all up week 4 with 3+ up week 7.
As for the horses that are getting more interest than yours, despite similar training- what breed/colors are they? Cozmic is right in that roan/sabino aren't going to garner much interest, as a lot of players are tired of that right now.
It really has nothing to do with popularity. The stud that matches the mare will get used, regardless of which player owns it. It's just about getting the right eyes on him. :)
