I am trying to try out a freshie stallion / complete a quest and in doing a horse search I found several mares that were up for breeding.. Do I need to reach out to the owner before I hit breed or just hit breed?

I appreciate any and all help I receive on this subject!

If the mare is up for public breeding you just breed her! She's yours for the taking
