depends on breed, gem
as someone who breeds color ISH, i usually ask ~5k for EWE combo colts but my EWE combo fillies can usually fetch around ~15k, i price them lower if they have sabino because i see it as undesirable but i dont know what the general consensus is on that

That goes in sales chat :)

15k is a little much for a colt, but about half what the filly should be

Is 15000$ a good asking price for EWE colts and filly’s?

Okk So my friend has a horse that ALWAYS cracks if they take her shoes off, so best suggestion of mine is to keep shoes on until the cracks grow off the hoof. BUt there are supplements that really help hoof growth. I use rolled flax seed which also helps with their coat. Neads Foot Oil is also great, but I can't remember if that is also used as saddle polish or if I use it on hooves also (<.>) I will look when I get home. Anyway, there are some great hoof oils out there. I put it on after I ride ever other day. But talk to your farrier and vet!

This year has been tough on our horses hooves. We went from having 1/4 horses have cracked and bad hooves to all 4. Our farrier comes every 4 to 5 weeks and does a great job.

We started feeding a hoof supplement from Dumoor and I’m telling you, their hooves have improved so much! I would recommend it!

Have you tried worlds best hoof oil
I am not sure if they sell it where you are but it seems to be an international brand
While using it there has been a visible improvement to my miniature horses hoof

I have never had to deal with this, but there are some products to help strengthen bones and hooves. There are also some hoof oils that can help make them look a bit better, just so you can feel better too XD

Ugh, the options are limitless and it is so confusing and overwhelming what to get. >.< LOL. But I really appreciate everyone's input!

I'm going to get some of the Farrier's Fix Hoof Oil for now because people on SmartPak swear by it. No supplements for now just because he's out in pasture and I'm not out every day to give it to him. Once he's moved and has his own space (thinking early to mid July), I'll start looking into supplements if need be.

I used to use Biotin but if you cannot get it where you live Pure Gelatin which you can normally buy at a chemist works well

We used Farnam Horseshoers Secret Extra Strength Formula and fed double dose as single is for maintenance. It worked for us. Feeding it for months everyday. We keep our horses trimmed no shoes on pasture.

Nutrition is a huge part in my opinion. He had huge cracks and they disappeared.
