Called the horse
Is truly a work of art;
Their heads, their hooves
Their manes, their tails;
You can truly tell;
and when you're sad,
They'll comfort you.
They know how to make you glad.

Ivy; I've been in love a lot in my life, and one thing I can say with absolute certainty (besides that love is different for everyone) is that my teenage love was not love; it was a crush- it was about so much more of my feelings for the person than the actual person. I didn't know the actual person at all, just who they were to me, if that makes sense? Same feelings I'd have for an actor/character crush.

To me, teenage love isn't right unless you are 18 or older, but that's just my standards. I won't get in the way of other people's standards.

Cash walked he mare in a few circles outside before putting her away. The sun was setting andhe saw a glimpse of an angry badger faced mare rear in her stall demanding dinner,"okay! I'm coming mooney" he half yelled before walking to her stall and giving her grain. She still had hay left over so he went to his cabin. Tossing his bags on the bed he looked around. The place looked like some fancy air bnb instead of a trainer housing district.

Jordan ran Cap around the round pen for a few laps, finding nothing wrong with his gaits or his conformation. She brought him back to his stall and found her third horse, Flower. She was in the stall next to Cap's, and Jordan put on her halter and led her to the round pen as well. She had to work very hard just to get Flower to extend her trot; she really liked to go slow. Again, Jordan saw nothing wrong with the mare, and brought her back to her stall. Jordan looked at her watch. It was almost 6:00. She considered going to her cabin for dinner but realized that she wasn't hungry. So Jordan went back to Debbie's stall and readied herself for the apparently crazy mare. Jordan slid open the stall door and reached a hand out to Debbie, letting her sniff it. Debbie pinned her ears and nipped at it. Jordan abruptly waved her hand up in front of Debbie's face and the mare pulled away, still eyeing Jordan suspiciously. Jordan grabbed Debbie's halter and walked slowly up to the mare, patting her neck. Debbie snorted and pawed the ground. Jordan slipped the halter over her head and secured it without a problem. Jordan slid open the stall door and clucked for Debbie to follow her out. Debbie leaped forward and rushed out the stall first, jerking Jordan forward.

Looking at the chart Cash found the horses that where under his care. A few stalls away from moonie was a three year old dapple grey gelding "here victor" he called grabbing the horses halter off of the door. "Hey handsome boy" Cash ran a hand down the horsesneck beforeleadinghim out of the stall and to the cross ties. Brushing the gelding down victory stuck his head sideways and wiggled his lip injoying the extra attention. After Victor got a good brush down Cash slipped a lunge line setup on the colt walking him into the arena he ran two ropes from either side of the colts halter under his front legs and tied them over his withers. "Trot oonn" Cash called swinging the flag at the colt who tried to toss his head but couldn't so he put it down instead trotting like a pleasure horse on the line.

Jordan grunted as Debbie pulled her forward, then quickly recovered and tugged on the lead rope, politely but firmly asking Debbie to back up. Debbie just looked at Jordan with eyes that were defiant and angry, and stood there resisting Jordan's command. But... There was something else in Debbie's eyes. It was almost... Jordan was surprised to even think it... fear. Debbie was scared. That shouldn't have come to a surprise to Jordan, because she knew that almost all bad-tempered horses were just scared, and reacted to that by acting out. But Debbie surprised her. Maybe because of how Nathaniel had talked her up, saying that she was always kicking, biting, and being nasty. But, again, that's what scared horses did. Jordan sighed, shaking her head. She was losing her touch. Her first day here, her first hour here, and she was already feeling out of it. But Jordan knew she could do it. This was an incredible opportunity, to train horses for a former Olympic trainer. Jordan looked back up at Debbie. Gazing into her eyes, Jordan saw the incredible horse Debbie could be, if only Jordan could bring it out. She resolved then to do her best, and that her best would have to be perfect. Jordan straightened, and led Debbie towards the round pen.

Cash pulled the gelding in uncliping the colts head Victor kept it down clearly understanding what Cash was teaching him. Running his hand down the Grey's neck Cash walked him out of the pen and past Jordan who looked worried. He leaned against the fence his eyes taking in the horses body language "how's she coming along?" Victor put his nose on Cashs sholder

(eek sorry I keep forgetting this exists >.<)

Debbie moved well when she wasn't bucking or running sideways for the fun of it, and she had good conformation. The arabian in her showed clearly with her head raised high and the graceful curve of her neck. Jordan startled when she heard Cash behind her, leaning nonchalantly against the fence. Jordan cued Debbie to stop and walked up to her, hoping to slip the halter on easily. Debbie, seemingly very happy about being out of her stall, reared slightly and took off at a fast canter around the pen, joyfulling bucking and kicking out. Jordan sighed and went back to the middle where she was safe from the flying hooves and answered Cash, though avoiding eye contact. "She's fine. Good build, strong legs, tameable personality." That last thing made Jordan nearly scoff inside. The chestnut mare was speeding around the round pen, and she looked like she wouldn't let anyone stop her. Jordan could do this. she could tame Debbie. She had to.
