Sage threw the merman a slightly amused glance. "Alcohol. Knocks you out like there's no tomorrow," he noted in a dry sort of amused tone, plopping down on the edge of the platform heavily and letting his head rest in his hands. He probably looked a mess - hungover, slept on a desk so his hair was tangled and honestly not something he had the energy to deal with, and his eyeliner was probably smudged everywhere, but he supposed he didn't care very much.

"Hm. You should try grinded down coral," he muttered, reading his arms and head on the platform. "Lemme untangle your hair it's bothering me," he muttered lifting himself up to sit on the platform.

Sage raised an eyebrow slightly at Remy, chuckling softly. "Isn't coral like....endangered," he mused, surprised when he lifted himself onto the platform. "Only if you stay up here and let me help you figure out how to use those legs of yours," he noted, shifting into a better position for the merman to work on his hair. "Good luck though, I've given up on it," he noted as he worked at getting the hair tie out.

"It has to be bleached to be grinded. Bleached coral is already dead," he rolled his eyes, gently working at untangling the man's hair. Remys got tangled all the time as he was constantly underwater, so his hair, was nice and easy. Remy didn't even use a brush, he got through the knots nice and easy, painlessly.

Sage grunted as he explained it, nodding in thought. "I suppose that makes sense," he admitted, surprised at how large the merman seemed now that he wasn't, like ... actively dying. Sage was a rather short guy, and while he had an athletic figure, the merman was definitely bigger than him. Even so, his hands were surprisingly gentle as he worked through the eknots in his hair. And he had to admit....he sort of liked the creature comfort. He'd never gotten any of it from people previously, so he did appreciate it.

Remy finished up running his fi gers through Sages hair. "There you go, all done," he said, rinsing his hands in the tank water.

Sage was surprised at the creatures work, and hummed a soft thanks to him as he pulled it all back up into it's normal bun. "Right then," he noted. "Let's get those legs back, shall we," he chirped, patting the merman's tail gently.

Remy made a face, swatting Sage with his tail. "Don't touch it,"

Sage couldn't help but snicker when the merman whacked him. It wasn't hard, but he gave him a grin anyway. "I just let you play with my hair," he pointed out in an amused manner, shifting to lean against the wall and wait for whatever happened last time to happen again.

Remy rolled his eyes. "I untangled your hair for you. And it's different, would you like it if I played with your legs and feet?" He countered with an amused grin.
