Blue, I know it probably won't help any.
But we had a dog named snow when I was growing up.
She has bone cancer.
She was only 10 or 13 years old.
It hurts, and it will hurt for a while.
If you ever need someone to talk to about it feel free to message me.
I know what you're going through right now.
Snow was a great Pyrenees.

Pretty big yeah, I think maybe 70-75lbs in his prime? Might be wrong. He's the best boy and been with me for most my life which is what's making this so hard. I know I need to let him go. His cancer is creeping back and I know it's kinder to do it soon.

Ok, I just know when my dogs back legs weren't strong enough using a towel as a sling under them can work. Thats only if they can use their front to help :( I would contact the fire department if you have nobody to help.

When I lifted him both his rear legs went stick straight and his rear paws went on their toes. I'm wondering if it's the way I picked him up but he's a relatively big dog to be trying to pick up and stand on my own

What about a towel do help the back legs if his front are working okay
Hummingbird Meadows

@Blue, it is a blessing to let them leave while happy instead of waiting until they are miserable. It doesn't make it easier, but not letting them know pain is the best gift you can give them.

He perked up when I opened the back door for the other dogs to go outside and tried to help him stand but I'm not strong enough and his back legs got stiff. It makes me so mad that internally he's not ready to leave but his legs don't give me much choice. Hes so happy still

@Blue, it can't hurt to call them or the non-emergency police department.

My neighbors on the left and right are seniors, and across the way are on vacation so I'm screwed in all ways possible. I'm halfway wondering if the fire department could help. It pisses me off so much, his body so working insanely well for being 16, but his hind legs just won't work.

Hunter Downing | 24 | Noble | Tim, Emily, Savannah

Hunter shrugged, “At least he’s got a nice one!” nodding towards Boomer. He continued walking down the aisle before noticing his stall that was labeled for him and Noble. He stepped over the edge of the stall doorway and began untacking. Noble stood quietly, sniffing the air with all the new scents around him. Hunter patted his neck before closing the stall door and setting his grungy, old tack outside the door. “This sure doesn’t match here,” he mumbled to himself. He wondered just how much he would actually get along with the people here. They all seemed so well off. At the same time, he didn’t really care. Noble could be social all he wanted, but Hunter wasn’t very much like that.

Mirabelle giggled, as Rose started sniffing her pockets. "Sorry girl, I don't have anything to give you." Mirabelle slightly pushed Roses head away, her British accent coming out as she talked. She smiled at her horse and gave Rose a quick kiss on her muzzle.

Hunter Downing | 24 | Noble

Hunter Walked past the group of people standing in the barn and made his way to his pick-up. He pulled out his suitcase and the small kennel that was in the cab. “Hi, little one,” he murmured to the tiny kitten inside. “Let’s get you some food, okay?”
He made his way to the house, holding the kennel close to him. He searched the hallway until he finally found his room number. He quietly used his key to open the door and stepped inside, too focused on the kitten to shut the door behind him. Gently, he set the kennel down on his bed before plugging in the heat pad that was keeping her warm. He reached into his extra bag that had the formula inside. He walked into the bathroom, putting formula and water into the bottle. After it was warm enough, he gently pulled the week old tabby out and sat on his bed against the wall. She let out a soft cry before finding the nipple of the bottle and suckling away. Hunter looked down at her with admiration. HeÂ’d found her in a box on the road only days before heading out for White Oaks and couldnÂ’t bear the thought of leaving her stranded.

Oskar Brins | 20 | Ashes of War | Everyone near the barn

He walked inside and saw a lot of people, some he had seen in line and some new. He smiled to them and glanced back to see what they were looking at. Laughing a bit he found the saddle rack that had his name and horse on it. Putting the saddle on it, he turned to watch he spectacle that was happening outside.

Mirabelle started braiding the French Trotters mane. It was what she usually did with Rose, brush her and braid her mane. She had a small smile on her face while braiding the mares mane.

Timothy Blue / EI / Looney + Boomer / Emily,Open.

The bay begins to fidget beside him, nudging at his arm impatiently.Tim pushes his nose away, rolling his eyes gently. He glances over the young lady again,Almost in disbelief at the fact she was a student before speaking,
"Well,Somebody is dying to do some jumping - Can't say I blame him."
He says,Looping his arm through the Geldings reins and starting to head toward the arena,
"-Oh..Nice to meet you."
Tim adds, shooting a charming smile which he was oblivious to as Boomer pranced like a colt beside him.Timothy couldn't help but chuckle at the veteran's antics, glad to see he was eager to jump as his rider.

Heather Proudstorm | 20 | Nightmare | Open

-Heather woke up from her sleep and yawned, getting out of bed as she stretched. She heads out of the dorm and walks over to the barn, she sets foot into the barn as if on cue, Prince immediately poked his head out of his stall as she was greeted by his soft whinny- "Hey boy, staying out of trouble?" -She said this as Prince rubs his big head against her as she was wearing her soft sweater, she laughed a bit as she firmly stood her ground- "You big goof" -she said while petting him when he stopped rubbing his head against her-

Luke watch GAbriella warm up and he smiled as she walked into the arena. Luke noticed Oskar in front of the barn. He smiled and nodded to him as he walked into the barn and went over to Red's stall. "hey big boy." Luke said to the big stallion as he got him out with his black halter.
