| I just created an account to check. Nope, you MUST choose an appaloosa pattern when creating your starter horse. |

| Even weirder since he is a stallion. If i recall correctly, mares need appy, but stallions need appy and a PATN gene or they will be sh instead of knn |

| i think genetically knn always have to test for either p1 or p2 or both, so i would think a solid existing would be a bug |

| they can appear solid, but they *should* always have appy in their color description |
