Sage hummed and nodded. "Well, if suddenly someone in town dropped dead with an arrow in his chest, the rest of the people would run away too," he noted with a shrug. He worked at building up the fire, so by the time she was done skinning it, it would be hot enough to cook the meat quickly.

"True, true." She said, skewering the rabbit after dicing it and roasting it over the fire.

Once the rabbit was on the fire, he sort of just moved to take his jacket off and lay it on the ground as a pillow before flopping over onto his back, just lounging around until it was cooked. There wasn't anything else to do.

Elara took the rabbit off the fire and handed a skewer to Sage, chewing on hers.
| |

Sage took the skewer once it was done nibbling at it. "Not bad," he noted lightly. It was cooked rather well, and did taste good.
| |

Elara shrugged at his note. "Game always taste better then castle food." She mumbled, finishing off her skewer.
| |

Sage shrugged with a sort of nod. "Ironic, isn't it," he mused. "The castle has all the money and most of it still sucks," he noted.
| |

"Exactly, they spend so much money and the food taste like dirt." She noted, tossing her empty skewer into the fire.
| |

Sage nodded with a sort of chuckle. "If you want to sleep, I'll take first watch," he noted, not minding. Taking watches for him more sleep than just staying up all night on his own.
| |

"Sounds good," She mumbled, glancing at him before heading into the shelter and attempting to fall asleep.
