"Okay" He said calmly, sighing and going into the store. He grabbed her a snack and a drink just in case--he was already on her bad side--and headed back to the car. He set everything in the console before driving away

Lorelei just stared out her window. She was really upset with him right now. He wanted a baby, but there was a lot of things that they had to talk about before deciding to have one, and if he wasn't going to talk about that with her, he was obviously not ready to be a father.

"Where did I mess up?" He asked softly. "Specifically"

"If we're gonna have a baby, now, or ever, we need to talk about it first, important conversations that we need to have before we even think about having a baby. If you can't even acknowledge that we need to have those conversations, you're not ready to be a father and we're not ready to have a baby," she muttered.

Kai decided to call a hotel about 6 hours away and reserve a room for them. Once the reservation was made, he looked over at Lorelei. "Would you like anything? Need anything?" He asked softly, not touching her at all in case she was still pissed at him
