Lorelei explained over the phone through her sobs. When he got here, she ran over to him, hugging him. "I don't know..." she cried. "I couldn't see him, he put something in my drink..." she cried. She nodded and got into the car. Lorelei took his hand, holding onto it tight.

Once they reached her house, he rushed to open her door and carry her inside. He grabbed her sweatpants and a sweatshirt before setting them in front of her. "I'll...step out so you can change." He said softly, wariness in his eyes. He steped out of the room while she changed and came back when she was done, holding her to his ches once he sat on her bed

Lorelei changed quickly and then returned to Kais arms, crying into his chest.

"I've got you. You're safe." He whispered gently to her, holding her close and rubbing her back. "I've got you, baby, I've got you" He said, the nickname slipping out. He waited anxiously for her reaction, regretting it

Lorelei didn't notice the nickname, just sobbing her eyes out into his chest, clinging onto him.

"I've got you." He repeated over and over protectively. "This will never happen to you again. I promise you. I will find who did this and they will not live another week. I promise." He said softly, almost a protective growl in her ear. "I'll always protect you" He added after amkment, kissing her head gently and holding her close.

Lorelei sobbed into his chest harder. She shook her head. "Its j-just gonna happen again... it does all the t-time..."

"Who?" He asked, suddenly furious and ec=vident in the way he clutched her closer, more protectively. "Lorelei, they will not be alive by the end off tomorrow. Tell me one name who did this to you. I will kill them tonight. Anyone." He growled quickly, his cheek to her temple. He held her in his lap, unable to let her go even for a second. "Do you need anything? Food? Water? Would you like me to stay here tonight?" He offered, his voice low and careful

Lorelei shook her head. "I don't know... I black out a-and wake up s-somewhere else... I n-never see their faces..." she cried. She knew it happened though. She could feel it in her body afterwards. She nodded quickly. "Please stay..."

Kai nodded, kissing her cheek. "I'm so sorry. I'll always protect you. Next time, I'm coming with you." He promised gently, squeezing her close for a moment
