Sage settled down next to her once Liz was set up too

Amira ate while keeping an eye on Liz

Sage ate too, occasionally letting Liz steal a bit of his plate and pretending to act like he hadn't seen her edging closer and closer next to him

"Liz, stop. Sweetie, if you want more food I can get you some." Amira said softly with a repremanding tone. "But Daddy's food looks so nummy" Liz whined. Amira sighed. "No, baby, let's get you some like Daddy's" Amira said, standing and taking Liz's hand as she led her to the kitchen. "What does Daddy have that you don't?" mira asked softly, opening the fridge. "That one" Liz said, pointing to cheese slices. "I don't think Daddy has those." Amira said, a confused tone laced into her voice

Sage hadn't really minded, but he supposed it wasn't good to let her take off other people's plates either. So when Amira reprimanded her, he sighed and then nodded when Liz looked at him. He watched Amira lead her to the fridge, but couldn't help but just...laugh when Liz pointed to the cheese and Amira got confused. Maybe he should get up and actually help, but he was doubled over laughing too hard at the moment. "I don't have cheese on my pancakes hon," he wheezed after a moment or two though

Amira's head whipped around with a soft smile at the sight of him laughing. "Sweetie, let's put some whip cream on there, hm?" Amira offered, grabbing it. "No! I want that!" Liz exclaimed, shoving her little finger toward the cheese. "Okay..." Amira agreed, still confused as she grabbed the cheese and handed her a slice. "Thank you, mommy" Liz burbled excitedly, running to Sage. "Daddy! Mommy got me cheese like you!" She informed him. "Baby, I don't think he has cheese..." Amira muttered. She sighed. "Whatever. If you eat your pancakes, I don't care what you have on there"
