Those thoughts had only very recently stopped. He still thought about what he did to himself every day. Sometimes he felt like doing it again, but he always stopped himself. He didn't tell Emery this though, he didn't want to scare her, and he hadn't thought that way since he met her, so maybe it was getting better.
