I have a 135 gallon tropical tank, a 40 gallon guppy tank that I (regretfully) neglect, and a 20 gallon tank. The 20 gallon is my betta tank and requires the absolute most work to keep it clean. The smaller the tanks, the more difficult they are to maintain, in my opinion!

Beneficial bacteria can be hit or miss I’ve heard but I personally have had good results with it. If you can steal some established filter media from someone that boosts it too

If you add beneficial bacteria which you can get at pet stores it can make it faster :)

With cycling though you have to take into account a brand new fresh tank can run forever but unless something is put into the system, it will never be cycled because the beneficial bacteria doesn't have anything to feed on

Hiya, could I order a full set with pallette please? Pretty much FR, but could it be purple themed and not have any super fine fonts/any colour combos that make text a bit tricky to read please? (My eyes don't cope well with it unfortunately haha.)

I also sometimes accidentally abandon my SAs for a week or two at a time, so if I go quiet just give me a poke on my main (#362981) please xD
