(lol, we do love the drama) Sage had been held back in the waiting room, with Liz. If he hadn't still been fresh out of surgery himself, he'd have gone out swinging, but as it were even just yelling took all his energy, and it was all he could do to sink into a chair and clutch Liz to his chest, worried sick about Amira. It didn't help that they told him she was having emergency surgery but didn't say much about what was wrong. So when they finally took him to her, he flew to her bedside, immediately wrapping his arm around her, carrying Liz with the other one.

"S-sage....did they tell you? D-did you h-hear?" She choked out. "I was...pregnant...but it's all my fault...It's gone, Sage...It's all my fault...." She sobbed

|
Sage just shook his head, not really sure what was happening. "They didn't tell me anything...woah, woah, woah, slow down babe. Nothing's your fault," he murmured.

"It's gone, the baby, it's gone, Sage." She sobbed, her monitors going crazy

|
Sage was upset, of course, but mostly he was worried about Amira. She was the top priority at the moment. "Babe....babe, it's ok. Try and relax," he pleased gently.

"It's not okay...I killed it...It's all my fault...I killed it...I'm a horrible person!" She said, climbing to hysteria as a nurse rushed in and put a knockout drug into a needle before giving it to Amira. The nurse nodded gave Sage a nod of approval before leaving. Amira began to slip into an artificial sleep, shaking, crying, and wispering curses to herself

"it's not your fault....sometimes things happen and they suck but you didn't kill it," he said, trying to reason with her. He let out a sigh when the nurse drugged her, just sitting close and holding her hand, hoping it would be comforting

Amira fell into a deeper sleep, for once free of nightmares

Sage let out a relieved sigh when she settled down. Good. He didn't want her too upset.

Amira slept for a while as a nurse walked in. "So since she's told you what happened, how are you feeling?" The nurse asked Sage softly, checking Amira's monitors
