Amira walked into the kitchen with a smile

Sage was just scrolling recipes. "Chocolate or vanilla," he asked, peeking over his computer at her. "I've never really had cake ....I'm not sure what either one tastes like," he added with a sheepish grin

"Are you kidding?" She exclaimed, surprised he'd never had cake before. "Well, we should do both. Half one side and half the other to see what you like." She suggested, pecking his cheek and looking at the recipes he was scrolling through.

Sage hummed with a nod. "You saw my house. Know what my father was like," he pointed out. He'd barely eaten dinners, let alone baked a cake. "I think that's a good idea," he agreed with a chuckle

Amira nodded and went to grab ingredients

Sage helped her, and soon enough they each had a recipe to make it go quicker

Amira made the frosting with Sage, smirking with a playfully evil look in her eye as she reached up as though to touch Sage's face but smeared some vanilla frosting on his cheek and giggled. She made the rest of it, acting innocent.
