Gypsy Yea Georgia was quick to ignore the whole thing xD I understand wanting normal life but at the same time we should be at least smart about it. I feel bad for those who caught it and genuinely couldn't afford to get care AND not work. I know lots of people that had to work sick, it breaks my heart that I wasn't able to help them.
I'd never allow my pet to see a vet who doesn't let me in. Mainly cause a vet I worked for was shady....but my new vet even shows me how to do IV injections, take cultures, etc. a vet should never not allow you back. only time I've not been with an animal is if it was staying overnight or for a few days
@Mads; Georgia was pretty much done with the regulations five minutes into the whole thing. I worked in the restaurant industry; "essential" which is part of why I got damn COVID four times. Well, DragonCon for two of them, while running my buiness.
Nope, next child will be another dog, and that's only when Thor passes and I feel ready to take on another. Hopefully not for a few years. I'm in contact with a breeder so those are my big life plans.
@Gypsy, could be, but using Covid as an excuse is really silly. Same with those places that still have distancing signs Or stickers up because they havenÂ’t taken them down for some reason.
I would have lost my shit if I was turned away at the vet, especially if it was an emergency and not just regular checkups. I'm glad none of my animals made me go through that
