I am gutted that this mare is retired next month. I won a giveaway thingo and got to choose her for free, she was only ever used as a SD brood which was a shame because she throws brilliant foals *cries*. She gave me two pretty foals this RO so she went out with a bang <3

Enjoy retirement my love -HEE Click- <3

Palette Pricing - Looking for Opinions :) April 27, 2024 05:29 PM

Since I only have two art orders left to complete, I'm thinking about the future of my art shop and considering offering palettes. I've made about 4-5 so far, two for myself and two to three for other players that came with art I created. I'm wondering how much players would expect to pay for a custom or free-rein palette, on its own or as an add-on to art.

Most of them include transitions, hover states, transparencies and a fade-in animation to name a few things. I do try to keep them accessible in terms of colour contrast and font choice as well.

One of them is on my stable page currently, it's mostly finished if not completely done.

Another can be viewed on MakeEm Fancy's page: https://horseeden.com/stable.php?id=200292

I'll try my best to screenshot two others, lol. I had to zoom out pretty far (full-page captures mess up the background for me) so I recommend opening each in it's own tab to view:

I can't comment on pricing because I have absolutely no clue, but I really love your palettes! As someone who doesn't really use palettes due to them really hurting my eyes and head, I think you're doing a great job at making them accessible - particularly the lighter coloured ones. They are some of the least 'hurty' ones I have personally come across lol
I think they would be a hit if you offered them along with your art <3
