That makes sense Elf, I used to be on the go with my tablet a lot too. The wacoms were light, so portable but the intuos model itself (they have other models though not like this) is a seperate attachment, so if you're looking for a tablet that you can work directly on instead I'd find a different model or the X-pen, etc. If that makes sense and helps
P.s. I have taken both my wacom and my new laptop with the fancy pen with me on roadtrips and have done art, so it is feasible with the wacom, but might be less comfortable and manuverible
Athena Xpen connect to computers as well, and it hooks up to your computer (Like wacom) but it's slow if you don't have good internet (At least in my case.) And, you have to buy Ibispaint premium if you want to draw longer then an hour.
I've been looking at wacom and xpen but I'm not quite sure they're what I need. I need to be able to take it anywhere and do art on the go. Like say I'm on a road trip. I'd like to be able to draw on the go if that makes sense
