Sun, when I worked at the casino, dodging drunks was just part of the job. Every hour. Every day. At least I deal with that less often at my current job.
Ive worked alot of places, and while alot of people had drama and war stories it wasnt like everynight. i never had someone come in drunk at the tack store LOL. most venues have bars connected to them and that alone causes issues. i know it happens and it happened alot during fast food but it wasnt a daily or even weekly occurence imo.

I feel like everybody's like "my industry is SO full of drama and crazy people you'd never understand" and like. Every industry is just that way. Some may be crazier than others but if you're immersed enough in something you'll find the crazies
It is to an extent. I went there after working in the dog world (mostly boarding and daycare) and its pretty similar. super fast paced, stressful and depending on the people they may try to kill each other lol. happened quite a bit
I did merch for some smaller punk pop bands for a bit, most of them have been in the industry for like 15+ years haha. Im friends with certain members from Story of the year based on my location (one of their techs, their merch guy) they both worked for other people. Story tech is my favortite person in the whole world lol
