I literally have no idea with gentics. The previous owner sent my a color thing on this mare and it simply said black And he said any color comes from stud.
But as long as baby and mom make it through healthy I am so vet happy!!
I think it's the stud that is smokey then. My mare had a test done and it didn't say she was so I'm guessing her sister wasn't either. But I suppose genetics do strange things. So I suppose we shall seeeee I love the mystery. I know their is usually always a small chance of red?
