I think I am not going to give them my two weeks notice. I have tried to make this job work and was basically told that they canÂ’t accommodate me and that my coworkers donÂ’t have to do their job if they donÂ’t want to.
But trust me, that road of redemption took forever man. And I ended up driving 35 minutes one way to work until I got on with my current school. And I am not a lazy worker, quite the opposite. I do my job and offer to help everyone else with theirs. I am reliable, hardly ever call in. It was that no two week notice that got me down for a bit.

Depends on how small your community is. Whether it is legal or not, people gossip. Unfortunately. And really hard to legally pin point gossip, so hard to enforce certain laws too.
then they'll ask you about that gap on your resume. don't burn bridges. it's two weeks, and if you let them know ahead of time they might let you leave sooner anyways
I am absolutely with the best school now, but I quit my first one with no notice (they were awful and I just quit) It was hard to find a job within daycare, because everyone talks. Finally found one that redeemed me and then I ended up at my current school 💕
hummer If I remember correctly, the 2 weeks notice isn't for you, it's so they have time to find a replacement. If they're half as bad as you've said, I wouldn't give them a 2 weeks notice, but that's just me
