she needs to talk to her angry dad. She finds out that he's moving out of town in his desperate attempt to rid Akasha of her online friend and new "boyfriend". That plan fails. She denies him and moves in with her boyfriend, Dakota. She does something--not sure what yet--and has a seizure, two, for that matter. When Akasha's released from the hospital again, she gets sad, lonely, depressed, even. While she's starting to recuperate, Dakota fools around with her and ends up dropping her, and she rebreaks her broken leg and suffers from another seizure that claims her life. Akasha fights for it back. It happens again, and she is more serious while living outside of her dad's house, making sure that she doesn't go on the brink of dying once more.

A girl named Akasha (Kasha for short) has epilepsy. Her overprotective dad who doesn't want his daughter to die from seizures keeps her inside the house at all costs. No. Matter. What. Akasha's sick and tired of this "torture". She wants to go outside. She wants to socialize. Akasha sneaks out one day throughout the night and tries to locate her online best friend from her online classroom's house. Whilst trying to find it, she doesn't hear nor see the traffic and she gets hit by a vehicle, her left wrist and arm broken, and her right leg's shin broken, too. Akasha gets transported to a hospital sooner rather than later, and, surprisingly, doesn't get a seizure from her epilepsy. Someone's there for her at the hospital Her father, friend, and . . . secret admirer, perhaps? When she's better, Akasha finds out who this guy is and they meet up on a planned occasion at a restaurant. They immediately fall in love, and Akasha leaves him in a hurry because
