I actually live at home with my mom, But she told me if I want to adopt a cat I have to be the one to get permission from our landlord. Our landlord is actually really nice And friendly.
I mean if you already have a dog just get the cat. Better to ask forgiveness than permission, and if they're okay with a dog they shouldn't care about a cat anyways
