| @Red, insurance wouldn't cover it. I suppose I could look into it once I get my own insurance next year. |

| @Versa, I spent 6 months looking and found one place, but my insurance backed out last minute. Like I said for some reason because I am over 18 (was diagnosed at age 21) I am suddenly barred from therapy for autism. |

| Bird You can still do occupational therapy as an adult! There are plenty of other modalities that would also be helpful |

| @Versa, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression around age 14. Turns out it was autism all along and I got my diagnosis 8 years later. Unfortunately I am too old to receive any therapy to help with my autism because I am over 18. |

| Bird, I have what's considered social phobia, alongside selective mutism. I was tested numerous times for autism. Eventually it was decided that I was just very ADHD. I don't medicate for any of it except days where my anxiety is too severe for me to function. |
