@Angel Normal I "bake" my substrate in the oven to kill anything thats not supposed to be there if its not a product im familiar with or just being on the safe side. It might even help kill the mites faster

Just not sure about the situation with my Hognose. Based on my research I feel like I would be happier handling a ball python though since they are more chill, usually.
