i bought super detergent already but the quest never disappeared or gave me anything for it. could it be because i dont have any non-leather tack in my inventory?

The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.
