I'd make one change; switch "horrors abound" to "horrors arise". (It's just more poetic in keeping with your linguistic choices in the rest of the piece.)
Also I very much agree with MC; AI is SO obvious. What makes a good writer is learning your own voice and leaning into it (but also taking editing well).
My advice? Keep at it. Keep writing. Hone your voice, do not lose it. I edit others work and I can tell 9/10 times when they have had AI assist or others help them. Your voice will shine through as you hone your work.
