PNW The exact same thing happened to me. Lol. It happened a second time, but the horse spooked like one or two moves before the end the second time, so I didn't get a map.
I once had a horse go all 50 miles without spooking, twice in a row. It won a Sherpa Map the second time. I was so excited! Then on the third try, he spooked right away. Sub! The game never said "your very spooky horse miraculously..." or anything. It just said "...bravery is kicking in...". Just Sub. And that horse never mustered any braver again. XD
