I have ADHD, Severe Social Anxiety, and currently working on a diagnoses for PYSD. I get triggered, and can get to the point of no return if pushed when triggered, or even overstimulated. Thankfully have an amazing husband, but I am going too a new mental health meds dr. The last one told me I was severely anxious because I am tired 🙃

My mother doesn't want me on medications, so she's being trying all these 'natural' things to help me but still doesn't want me tested? I assume she's just scared of having me on medications or something.
I'm sorry Spooks :( anxiety can be such a bitch to diagnose too because they basically go "well you have all these coping mechanisms so your anxiety isn't disrupting other people" and its like yes but it's disrupting ME
My doctor said literally the exact same thing about my anxiety.. the reason I brought it up was because my attempts to manage it weren't really working x.x Safe to say I am searching for a new primary care doc

When I tried to sort out an ADHD diagnosis the doctor basically told me well you're ADHD but there's no point in officially diagnosing you because you seem to manage it ok into adulthood. I was like ok thank you for being entirely unhelpful 🙃
Ugh I wish I could get tested for ADHD. My parents see no use for it apparently. I'm 99% sure I have it, it's literally my whole life, but my parents won't do anything...
