I get the goldfish brain lol. My middle dog, Minga, is 4, and I have had her since 5 weeks old. Weve been training since then, but mostly unsuccessfully as she can be unpredictable at times(including biting me twice). I honestly believe shes inbred and I was lied to due to a whole lot of information from the girl who “rescued” her.
I remember how there were 3 people needed once to keep my dog at the vet's. I don't remember what exactly it was for Anywwy, the dog isn't big. I'd say she's middle sized, but some people say that she's on the smaller side
AL Yes, I'm so proud of him for that. I'm glad they don't have to muzzle him, I would hate to have a dog that my vet is afraid of. Even with shots, his only problem is he's scared to be put up on the table, so everything has to be done on the floor. But they can poke, prod, and X-ray him without a flinch as long as they don't put him on the table

Silver That makes me feel a lot better. My last dog was so well behaved. I took him everywhere I could. The only place my current has been is the vet. And in his defense, the whole staff is always in the room for checkups, shots, or anything else because he's an angel with them. Any time I have to leave him he comes home smelling like perfume
Sway He has the attention span of a goldfish. He has no recall, which again is my fault. I've never taken him anywhere. But he does know how to sit, lay down, and shake. But he uses shake to slap people in the face at it hurts
CCR If itÂ’s any consolation, our dog is almost 11 and still not trained due to a lot of things that happened since we got him. I strongly believe you can train a dog at any age well, so donÂ’t worry too much! YouÂ’re trying your best to train and thatÂ’s what matters :)
If your dog is a quick learner, then it is usually fine to not spend a lot time on specific lessons. I have a dog that teaching new things to is very easy, but something as simple as lay down we have been working on for a long time. She will be 3 this year, and we still have not mastered lay down lol
