I use both the vibrate and stim (shock) function. My dog has been conditioned to respond to it at a low level. It goes up to 100 and I never go above 25 and that's only in situations where he is really acting out.
My Pyrenees, Nova, struggles with calming down. I just let her wander around the house, closing off certian rooms so she can't get in trouble, sometimes it takes an hour of pacing but eventually she lays down somewhere and takes a nap. Luckily I've nver had to deal with people petting her without permission
Hummer, You sound like you have done your best to get the training that is needed but if you don't have whole family support... it isn't going to work. Everyone has to be onboard with the training.. especially if he is a difficult dog.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
