Thanks I try to name him after the parents or based on there coat color I don't really have a line going for my horses I don't even know how to start a line.
I need name ideas please -HEE Click- he is a sport horse his father is named Dara his mother is Winter Love I can't think of a good one for him he's a brindle which is even harder I wish you could breed for this but you can't anyway ideas would be great.
We live on the same property as them, itÂ’s 100 acres and we have a house just on the other side of the horse pasture. I know for certain that they wouldnÂ’t get rid of them since theyÂ’ve had all three of them for years. even then, I still plan on getting my own horse regardless. So itÂ’s not a huge huge deal to me. Plus I donÂ’t think my fiancé would let them sell what was originally his horse and his sister definitely wonÂ’t part with her horse.
Usually when working with horses that I'm not sure are broke, I like to "fake ride" them on the ground first. One hand over the withers so you can steer them, press a hand into their ribcage or a stick on the other side of them to make sure that they can move off leg, cluck to keep them forward, etc. Either they're confused and you go back to basics and teach them, or they're fine and they know what's up

IÂ’m hoping just to get them more comfortable with people. They have been pasture pets for a while but all are sound. My fiancés parents pretty much just gave them to me last night saying they all need to be worked with anyways. Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
