@Dulcie, My mom, a pretty wise soul who would stick her foot into almost anyone's business about anything, told me in a situation like that, all you can do is wait, and be ready to offer support at the end, because if you try and tell someone things like that, they dig in because they feel attacked and wrong.

Withdraw your horse from it's team. You will lose all team points for this horse. Please discuss this action with the team manager first.
Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
Showing in the special weekly shows doesn't count against your horse's weekly regular show count.
