@ven Yup. You have to get a puppy for it to be fine with a young child. English Staffordshires were nanny dogs back in the day, different but similar breed. |

Void That's a shame :( I know a friendly pit isn't something everyone comes across, I've just known many pittie lovers, as well as been around tons of lovable pitties, so it's heartbreaking to hear you haven't experienced that. I hope you can, someday. |

@eury And here in central PA, 95% I've meet and the kind that want you cover EVERYONE in hugs and kisses or are scaredy cats in public that want to go back to their car. :) |

My heart breaks for all the overbred, genetic nightmare, homeless pitty mixes. I love all dogs and wish I could help them all. But will a bully mix ever be part of my home when I have a young child? No |

Yeah, I haven't met any friendly pits. The ones that get dumped out here tend to be aggressive or hassle the livestock |

@lo Yupper. My family had only one dog, he lived to be like 14? Anyway, we adopted him and later found out he was an Aussie and about 6-10 months old at the time. Past prime training, so he ended up being OK-ish. We... had... no... clue! |

Void And they often get labeled as aggressive! Which, undoubtedly, can be true, but isn't always the case. Just as pitties are generalized as aggressive, yet I think the majority of humankind can attest to the fact that they've met at least one big, goofy, cuddly pit bull lol. |
