this is a pure foundation bred KNN stud, currently standing in England - bred by my friend

I would not consider him to be a carriage horse

Again; do you speak from US type of "KNN breeders" or the European KNNs?

And you know that anyone can set up a "breeding association" and level any crossbreeds as prurebreds?

Yes, but you can have Warmbloods with appaloosa. Like the appaloosa Oldenburgs.

Right but a lot of argumentation of the games current breed selection is that it is "eventable", old-type KNN that the game represents are largely not that by any stroke. The modern KNN that you do see represented in eventing is just that, a modern cross from oldstock to make it viable.

All other WB breeds are grouped together under "warmblood" instead of hano, holsteiner, etc. KNN can be their own thing because of the color genetics

KNN's are a type of Warmblood tho if we really look deep at the origination of KNN

Where do you get these informations from, Goat?

My friends are breeding foundation KNNs in Europe and they would be really offended by your assumptions :D

It's easy to grab an ABLB straw and throw it at a mare and throw a sven on there and have a shot at an ABLB foal. You have to really want to breed good KNN.

Guess I'm one of those 'hardcore' breeders, as I wouldn't like KNNs to be crossed with anything.

I personally don't want to make breeding KNN any easier. Nothing has to change with the game. People just have to take the breed seriously, but there's not a lot of glory or EBs in it because they aren't top LB horses until very very recently.

Old type KNN are virtually non-existant now though, nor do they really represent the "WB" type most people think of (generally, anyways). Old Knabs are pulling/carriage horses and are/were very solidly built.

It would get a little noodley though since it would open the question for PATN SH x KNN backbreeding to breed true or not. I think WBs should probably be allowed to cross into KNN regardless since so many WB breeds aren't represented in game that are on the approved list.

And as for real life KNNs - yes there are certain crossbreeds allowed and they might get papers from some associations... But on the other hand you will find a lot of hardcore breeders who want to keep foundation blood purebred

But yeah. Since eve suggested putting it into the suggestion box, it'd be neat if it's something she's considering

I'm still thinking about FR my whole barn and Starting a new breed.

I think you could justify a PATN carrying TB to SH as a "too high" TB bloodstock for it to qualify in KNN standard. That would be a very realistic interpretation if that's the goal.

I breed KNN, I regretted it instantly.

If you want to just breed spotted pixel ponies you have the option to breed SH, ISH and PON.
KNN are meant to be a really difficult challenge in the game for those who want to conquer it.

And for the art:
You can always upload KNN art to your SH/ISH/PON horses for example
