@Kelan, having a show string of say 200 horses won't get you LB matches and many people don't have time to show more horses than that.

Time is an issue for all players, in my opinion.
A game is something meant to do in *free time* and free time varies for everyone.
When free time is at a minimum, then you have to make the choice whether to play at all, a little, or whatever works for you.

Everyone has real life commitments and stuff to do.

Sometimes entertainment (a game) has to take a back seat, and that should be ok.

Showing at a large enough scale to really see profit takes a lot of time.

Rollover is something that only lasts a few days. Showing is all through the month

I have a question for those saying they don't have time for showing. Why would showing matter if that was the case? Are you finding the time for RO takes all that you have on here so you don't have a much for showing? Then because you don't have enough, you can't get the profit you need to get the stud you want? This is at least what I'm thinking it is, but I'm not sure and genuinely curious

Eve said a show cap won't happen so it won't happen.

I think the show cap thing *could* be implemented in a way that only helps small stables. No cap until you have X number of horses and then the 1500 cap starts or something. That being said, it could still cause economic problems as Eve said, so I'm not sure

Well, will just continue to do my own little thing and show my little herd, until it gets so discouraging that I quit for another real life year.
Sadly kinda how it goes.
Play a few months, quit for a year or moreĀ….sigh

Like I said earlier for me time is the biggest thing, with RL, I have no more time starting tomorrow, I don't trust the BM to show as she has lost me 20k+ the last times I tried to use her, and I'm now lucky if I can get on once a day once school starts tomorrow, I wish she was more reliable

Hand entering is not the issue over here, put the upkeep of the herd is. Breeding/training/keeping up with riders.. it gets time consuming

I don't think the breeding items are an issue. They're there to use or not use, as each player wishes

I just think the earnings from shows could be changed, to help increase the profits for showing

Oooh that starter horse update- that would help a lot I believe

I understand your point, although I like that the sven is something to work towards. I used my first one this month and it made it very exciting (then very sad when it flopped but hey ho 🤣)

I don't have a big enough herd that time is an issue for hand entering but I do wish profit was just a smidge better

I do understand where you are coming from, and I agree for the most part with you!

For me showing (aside from futurity) is something I do because I need to rather than because I enjoy it. I'd class myself as an averagely successful player- I'm certainly not making bank but I'm chugging away a small profit every week. The only reason I'm able to do that and enjoy myself actually playing other aspects of the game is because I spend a decent amount of RL money. I'm lucky enough to be happy and able to do that, but I can see why others that aren't in the same position get put off
