He's always screamed when he wants food, and I generally just ignore it. Recently he drank a TON of water at like 4 am after screeching at me for food, and then vomited on my floor. This prompted me to *get up* because I had to clean it, and I gave him a little bit of food because he was rubbing against my legs and purring. I thought he wanted comfort.

... No. He didn't. He was begging. And now he does it consistently at every meal time.

I let Mo out in the barn during the day while I'm working. He always hangs out around me and comes when called, and has a bell so he can't catch birds, and the other barn cats have been safe and happy in the barn for over a decade, so I never really thought anything of it, but he got super sick over the weekend and $1400 later got diagnosed with vestibular disease..... he's going to be stuck inside for a while while he recovers, and then I think after this his outdoor time will be limited to on-leash :/
