She already does. I do a lot of the work/bonding time while she eats dinner. Depending on what I'm doing, she'll move and position herself without me asking

Instead, she maintained the proper distance. Had a few bucking tantrums and showed her ass while turning around, but we got things sorted
I like round pens and small arenas for fist rides as a safety thing. You want your first ride quiet but they are still animals with their own brain. I try to get out the round pen and into big spaces as soon as I can
I have a decent sized roundpen I'll be riding her in. That way, if she acts up, she can't run off and I'll have an easier time grabbing her to pull her head out of her ass lol
