I quit my other job at another barn. I was a working student and the communication was horrible. Hardly got to ride. Which I understand happens in a working student scenario but I think I rode a total of 7 times in a year?
There is a fridge at my barn job with bottled water but everyone still just brings their own. But it's there in case we need to refill or something. Which I've never had to do. I have a giant water bottle.
My job at a horse barn nearly made me quit the equestrian world for good it was awful but each barn is different and some people don't deserve to run barns
Eury, the law must be different in my state. My local pharmacies always close for up to one hour so the staff can take a meal break. Regulars know when the pharmacy is closed mid-day, and work around it.
Yeah it's not the best paying job but it's what fits me best at the moment. I'm glad I love at home and I absolutely love my job and everyone there so it evens out.
If I ever have to quit I'd still volunteer there when I can. That's how much I love being out there.
I've never worked anywhere where a vending machine would come in handy. Two different barns and a pet store. Not places you'd expect a vending machine lol
If you have Dapple Blend Grain, you can feed it to your horse and their coat will dapple.
The effect will wear off after a few days. One pound of grain will be fed at a time.
If you feed Senior Blend to your senior horse they will have a 10% decreased chance in dying
when the weekly script runs on Monday morning. The effect lasts for one weekly cycle.

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
