Storm That's just it though. On my KNN account I don't deal with embryos or items for the most part. I basically only show and breed. I don't fed, I don't really do member showing, I have a color Project for funsies, and a bravery project that I don't have to think about.
I don't match because I got tired of spam refreshing straw threads, and have honestly gotten tired of the increasingly strict rules on stallions. So, I show
Then why not sacrifice other parts of the game like I mentioned so you can show? Sometimes you have to change your goals to be realistic about what you can accomplish. I don't know, maybe I just think of this game differently since I more think about what I can do with what I'm given than where I want to be.
Breeding fees aren't cheap, especially for certain breeds like TBs, or if you're dealing with a weak breed, you're going to end up with a lot of wasted ebs because the foals are junk
Right now I have fulltime training/work on top of 60 animals and school. I can get my school done at work, but I get there at 10 and usually don't leave until 8-9. Next year it will be nursing school that I'll be putting myself through. Almost everyone here complaining about time and not turning enough profit to make it worth it has a life lmao
Also it's not time I enjoy spending entering. Like I'll fully spend 8 hours straight making a spreadsheet of a weekend, but that's because it's something that I enjoy
I agree with that Hummer! Some people don't focus on breeding which is fine, but as a breeding stable, that is my focus, and I have big matches with KNN since I'm trying to help them be better but RO will cost 2.1Mil for one match
See, I'm in agreement with all this as a working adult with 4 animals and a kid on the way. I'm just confused where the disconnect is for why profit and showing are mattering when I just do what I have time for and move on. I've personally sacrificed time finding matches. I'll just find the match as I have time for breeding so my foals tend to be randomly in the month and then towards the end I either breed them to my boss or lb boys that are left if they match enough.
For me it's that I physically don't have the time to sit 3 nights a week and go through every horse to see if they're ready to show. And I don't even have that many to do. I do think a training bars view in the easy show enter would be MASSIVELY helpful for that though for sure.
