Hummer Weight wont stop him from digging. Although I know not all cats are the same. I'd just keep an eye on him in it for awhile and make sure he doesn't get any ideas. Just to be safe.
Hummer Its in an easy fix if you put it on something hard such as wood deck or concrete slab. Or even put the same mess thats on the sides. on the the bottom. Just remember if his head can get out, his body can get out
