We're going to wean her off of free feeding to getting a meal a day and following the vet's advice for a weight loss portion. She won't lose weight if she still eats her own weight every day no matter how much exercise we get her, so first step is her food
Limiting food is an option as well (of course exercise is important too of course, but I'd rather limit food intake while I find a different toy my pet enjoys than a laser)
