Eve, I agree but theres no way to tell whos a pet, and whos a pest. I feel like we would end up with a crap load of people killing peoples pet pigeons along with ferals.
I have reached the point, where the scaredy cat will eat the food, as long as I don't get too close to her. I use a broom to keep the pigeons away until she finishes eating and walks away from the food
I might be sort of on the opposite side in that case. Pidgeons and wikd birds are meh to me they never bothered me? Because Im the one with the smaller animals, I've had to watch out for unsupervised/outside cats instead yknow 💀
I don't mind if they get to eat once the cats are done eating, but one of the feral cats is a real scaredy girl who is scared of everything, including the pigeons.
Yeah. Theres a huge feral pigeon problem, and it's unfortunate because theyre domesticated so they depend entirely on people to survive, but most people despise them.
