Moon Definitely they're basically trying to force you so an actual doctor or OB doesn't have to do anything. It's nice for them to get hands on experience but only on consenting and WILLING patients not on whoever they want
I've never had an issue with students or residents, actually I had the sweetest student come and ask to watch my labor and she checked up on me throughout labor and during my stay at the hospital but it's definitely hit or miss, I don't know if id trust them to treat something serious
