They look cute and squishy. I like their stout faces and build. I'm sure since they are aquatic, they might not be for beginners, but their temperament seems chill (on the internet)
What is funny, is when I tell people I have a snake some of them are like, eww. But, when they actually meet him they realize how small and cute he is and say he isnt like other snakes.
@Mack, not sure what species you are talking about in the last one. XD my thing with garter snakes is it sounds like they are flighty so they arent great for handling.
