Aw man, that sucks Jacob And I get it, physical books are quite lovely. I can read on my kindle because the screen is nicer/ easier to read on then digital devices (I've got the paper white) but I still love physical copies.
And Puck I think my friend said that there was something weird or funny about the audio book of one of TRC books. I've been reading them myself though, so I wouldn't know personally
If you guys like things like that, you should read Wonderland and Beyond: A Twisted Fairy Tale by Amanda Knapp. Its like what happened to Alice after Alice in Wonderland. When she says its a twisted fairy tale she isn't kidding! LOL
Ok it seems interesting I might try to look into it. I love reading but since my eyes are fucked I haven't read in god...10yrs it's sad lol reading and stars I think I miss most. And I just can't do audio books and tablets I need to feel it lol
Jacob, if you like welsh mythology, unique magic systems, talking trees (but not in a corny way), archaeology, ley lines, psychics, prose with a sense of humor, and very eclectic characters, it's a good series. You're never bored, even the slow scenes are written very snappily.
She also wrote the Scorpio Races, which is a standalone about people that race man-eating horses on the beach, if you'd like to try a standalone before committing to a series
