Oh, and o e more thing! IRL, there's two different types of brindles. One basically rearranges the sooty gene into vertical stripes, so they'll always be darker than the base and have the same genes, while the other is like a chimmy. The sooty-modifying one CAN be bred for, and there's a TB breeder with a buttload of brindles xD |

Sunni ive asked you cant breed for colors like that there random sadly its pure luck there able to be gotten the foals that do get the pattern wont pass it to there children. |

breeding two brindles gives you a 0.50% chance of getting a brindle, while it's normally 0.25% if I recall correctly. Otherwise there's no genes for it. IRL, a chimmy is basically when one embryo swallows the other whole developing, and they sorta merge. Gene testing the hairs from one color area VS the other would give you two different sets of genes, even though it's still one horse. |

Why not? I'd imagine there is be some sort of genetic that would determine it, even if it changes where to be very very very low. |
