Capp, so, I'm Jewish. I grew up in an extremely Jewish community and had several Holocaust survivors as grandmother and aunt figures. The ones that were still alive back in 2016 all compared a certain politician to Hitler. When people that were there are making the comparisons, I sit up and listen a little bit more. It's not just something being flung about like an insult.
I think it all depends on what media you consume...people are painted as faciists when its not even the case. To compare people to hitler etc is a stretch
