Revel Look up slicker brushes for cats. It is the most universally used dog brush for any length of hair. I know they have cat ones but I've never used one
I friend of mine just uses her personao hair brush on her long hair cats and apparently it works great. Its got those soft knobs on the ends of the teeth
Revel I only ever groomed dogs so I can't really offer professional advice for kitties. One thing that is universal though is metal combs. If you're getting a comb get metal. plastic tends to cause static and a ton more knots
