Freakin whole month of July is a firework fest in my state. We also celebrate our state founding on the July 24th which is just another reason for fireworks.
Not to mention, there's plenty of people bothered by fireworks and it's pretty hard for them to be desensitized, despite understanding what's causing the noise
Because it's hard to desensitize to something that's completely random...And if it was easy to desensitize to thunder and fireworks, there wouldn't be a massive need for thunder buddy vests
Honestly the only time I ever had an issue with fireworks was when I hauled to an over night show on Canada Day. My one horse got a little hot headed but nothing major. Other then that I have never had a single issue with horses, cattle, or calves
I'm so glad that my boy is in at a private trainers this year far away from fireworks. Last year they made his sleeping ulcers wake up and it wasn't fun.
i genuinely cant stand fireworks. theyre pretty, yes, but when its a week before the 4th and a week after the holiday, can we not light them for hours into the night 🥲

Your horse may show 3 times per week. Shows run daily. Your horse and rider will gain valuable experience from showing. Select a discipline to show in, or scratch from tonight's show.
